Intro 2

So, what do you need to learn? Here is a short list of the things we will be treating (or that you should learn):

Our plan of attack will be 'hack'erish, i.e., we will be using examples of increasing sophistication, which we hope you will clone, alter, adjust, and otherwise tamper with, customizing, so that the resultants do useful work for you and your students.
As such, we will be focussing on kinds of questions rather than on depth of questions. I will be seeking to give you the tools to create your own questions based on the models introduced here.
The assumption that you are using a Unix (or Linux) server is implicit in everything here, and if you are using a different server, then some details will change.
